  • Don began his business career in 1967 with Honeywell Limited as a systems analyst for retail and distribution applications. Before becoming Manager of the Toronto Branch office with increasing responsibility for sales management, he was the Canadian Education Manager for computer systems, programming and software design.
  • In 1981, Don joined the company’s executive team. He authored articles about the high tech industry and emerging technologies in a number of professional publications, and served on the Board of Directors for the Centre for Advanced Manufacturing (Toronto Research Institute).
  • In 1987, Don established Honeywell’s Municipal Information Division to provide municipal governments across the country with hardware and specialty software. The division quickly grew into a multimillion dollar business.
  • Don was appointed by the Government of Canada as a Director for PemDi (a financial funding initiative for economic development). Today, Don is Founding Co-Chair of the York Technology Association and Honorary Director of the Markham Board of Trade.
